Here is what I have found that works for me to build muscle mass like a body builder. One is eat healthy such as fruits, vegetables, etc. Two is to eat five small meals and not three large meals a day. A bodybuilder consumes 80,000 calories a day so you do want to increase your calorie intake each time as you continue to workout. Increase your protein intake such as egg whites and peanut butter and even mix an egg with a glass of milk as well.
You would need to work out five or six days a week and workout a different body part each day. You want to do at least five sets of each exercise and on the last set of each exercise add an extra rep or two which are called force reps. You do that to bring your muscles more to fatique and it will help with endurance too. You need to do cardio everyday for 20-30 minutes daily and dont forget your abdominal muscles as well.
For an example: monday I do chest and abs, tuesday is arms and abs, wednesday is back, thursday is shoulders and abs, and friday is legs and abs with some sort of cardio everyday. You don’t have follow this example, but hope this helps.
