Starting an effective exercise program

Usually the most important part of any exercise program is STARTING. So you may have a few things to do first to get you off the couch and STARTING THE EXERCISE PROGRAM:
1. What do you WANT to get out of the exercise program
2. What do you NEED to get out of the exercise program
For example: I WANT to get thin, but I NEED to get fitter (in order to lose weight). A fit body can lose weight far easier than an unfit one.
You have to have these worked out before you start otherwise the program becomes a one-hit-wonder, and you’re heading for the couch with the crisps in no time.
