Writing tips: Creating a fantasy novel

There are two vastly different methods of writing fantasy fiction. I have written novels in both methods. I will try to share my experience in working with both.
The first method is scene writing. In this method you actually create each scene that will happen without worrying as much about the characters. Starting with the story opening that has only a beginning in it. Just enough to capture and draw your reader in keeping them gripped by your words until the very last sentence. Then even, if possible, you want to leave the reader wanting more (this is true of both methods actually).
